Eddie became carnivore after experiencing a panic attack in his teenage years. He suffered from various symptoms such as chronic fatigue and excruciating pain that occurred whenever he felt an emotion. Doctors diagnosed him with anxiety, but he knew there was something more. He was eventually forced to get a job at Walmart during the pandemic and found relief through the carnivore diet. Eddie shares his experience with the debilitating symptoms he has been experiencing, including difficulty breathing and pain in his neck. After two years of visiting doctors and specialists without receiving a diagnosis, he suffers a severe breakdown and is rushed to the hospital. Despite being misdiagnosed with asthma, the speaker continues to have episodes and eventually discovers through his own research that he may have cranial cervical instability (CCI). Eddie worked physically demanding jobs and attempted to maintain a healthy diet, but his symptoms continued to worsen. He eventually became so debilitated that they could not even leave their house and thought he might die. He was eventually hospitalized and believed his condition may have been caused or worsened by a chiropractic treatment he was receiving. By March 2022, due to previous dietary changes, he became very unwell and felt near death. A chiropractor helped Eddie diagnose his issue of loose ligaments throughout his body that were causing physical pain when he felt emotions. He began exploring various health and diet theories, including Dr. Gundry and Dave Asprey and eventually came across Bart Kay who he initially disliked but eventually found he had a deep understanding in his lecture recordings.
